Almost Spring – Detroit Industrial Landscape

“Almost Spring” is my original 2016 oil painting on linen canvas, measuring 24x36". Signed, titled, framed, and dated. This large-scale Detroit industrial landscape captures the late winter to early spring atmosphere of the city’s industrial district. Exhibited in Industrial Realism at the Nicole Longnecker Gallery, Houston, Texas.

I have been painting professionally for over 40 years, with more than 30 solo shows and numerous group exhibitions. My work is represented by the George Billis Gallery in New York and Los Angeles, and has been exhibited in galleries nationwide.

My paintings are included in over thirty corporate and museum collections, as well as hundreds of private collections around the world. I live and work in Ferndale, Michigan with my artist wife, Janet Hamrick, and our two studio cats, Bella and Lockie.
