Evening Shadows – Manhattan Bridges Cityscape
“Evening Shadows, Manhattan” is my original 2013 oil painting on oil-primed linen canvas, measuring 12x24" framed. Signed, titled, and dated, this dramatic New York cityscape depicts lower Manhattan at dusk, with both the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge in view. Provenance: shown at the George Billis Gallery, New York. Currently in the artist’s collection.
I have been painting professionally for over 30 years, with more than 30 solo shows and numerous group exhibitions. I currently exhibit with the George Billis Gallery (NY) and the David Klein Gallery (MI). My paintings are included in over thirty corporate and museum collections, as well as hundreds of private collections.
I live and work in Ferndale, Michigan with my artist wife, Janet Hamrick, and our two studio cats, Artie and Bella. For more than a decade, we have also maintained a painting loft in New York City, where I continue to draw inspiration from the urban landscape.
Collectors of New York cityscapes, Manhattan bridge paintings, and original oil artwork with established gallery provenance will find this a significant and unique piece.
